The New Year’s off to a cracker of a start with this week’s update to the Office 2013-based Lync/SfB client (Kb3141468), which takes us from 15.0.4885.1000 to 15.0.4893.1000.
What’s Fixed
This update fixes the following issues:
- Kb3213025 Meeting link is disabled in Skype for Business 2015 (Lync 2013) when Exchange servers of both organizations have TNEF disabled
- Kb3213012 “Is Typing” area has different gradient in a GC room conversation window in Skype for Business 2015 (Lync 2013)
- Kb3213009 The Close button doesn’t reset the search list in a room filter dialog box in Skype for Business 2015 (Lync 2013)
- Kb3213008 Changes for a bunch of heartbeat telemetry in Skype for Business 2015 (Lync 2013)
- Kb3213006 All reopened conversation windows have the same extent after you resize them in Skype for Business 2015 (Lync 2013)
- Kb3213005 You have no option to share the secondary monitor in application picker in Skype for Business 2015 (Lync 2013)
- Kb3212998 A new CustomSafeUrlPrefixes setting doesn’t work as expected in Skype for Business 2015 (Lync 2013)
- Kb3212994 IMs are duplicated at the receiver end in Skype for Business 2015 (Lync 2013)
- Kb3212991 Topic Feeds don’t have an option to only apply to a subset of rooms in Skype for Business 2015 (Lync 2013)
- Kb3212990 Strings in the General and Audio Device section are clipping if a high DPI is set in Skype for Business 2015 (Lync 2013)

There are no changes here from recent updates, so if you’re already current you only need the patch itself, below under “Download”. If however your patching isn’t to current, then you’ll need to check you have *all* of these pre-req’s. The Office 2013 SP1 requirement still applies if you’re using Outlook 2010. (Lync 2013 in all of its flavours – e.g. Lync Basic – is still a component of Office 2013).
