I recently had a hard time getting the Lync Monitoring Server reports deployed.
The deployment process looked good, but I kept getting an error “Exception calling “Create” with “0” argument(s)”.
I found a couple of good-looking blog posts on the subject (here and here), but even after manually creating the new account in AD and enabling it for local login, I was still getting the same error.
The ultimate fix was a simple one – turned out that the customer had removed my access to the SQL server. Once my Lync admin account was reinstated as “sysadmin” on the SQL server & database, I was good to go and the process completed OK.
If only the error message was just a TINY bit more helpful?

Postscript: Here’s another possible fix for the problem, from 2013.
